Attendance of the Quinnipiac University’s 2-week MBA training
For the first time, two students of the Babeş-Bolyai Universityattended the renowned Quinnipiac University’s MBA training, organized in Budapest, primarily for the American university’s own students. The two students from Cluj-Napoca in question were BCC members Dénes Laczkó and Béla-Gergely Rácz.
The program started on the 28th of May and lasted a fortnight. First activities included team-building and familiarization games, followed by Péter Ákos Bod’s, PhD, – professor at the Corvinus University – lecture on Hungary’s current economic situation and the future of the Hungarian economy. Christopher Ball, PhD, professor at the Quinnipiac University and coordinator of the Budapest program selected a wide range of companies scheduled to be visited, so as to cover all segments of the economy. Thus, the participants paid a visit to several enterprises, including: Morgan Stanley, E.On, Citibank, KPMG Consulting, E-Star, Flextronics, LightTech, Díjbeszedő, Bátor Tábor, General Electric.
On the whole, the MBA program represented a huge personal and professional growth-opportunity. Our gratitude goes out to Miklós Kerezsi, the BCC’s strategic and professional coordinator, who made this experience possible.
