Case study workshop with the representatives of HBCS

On 1 March, 2014 Zsolt Ábrahám and Janka Hoffmann, members of the Hungarian Business Case Society held a workshop on case study solving for the members of the GTK – Business Consulting Club and the ’Mikó Imre’ College. Participants have learned about how to read a case study, what to focus on while reading it, how to stucture a solution, and what specific problems can arise in a business case study, such as product pricing, logisitcs solutions, company structures, finances etc.

After the course participants had to solve a case about the former Hungarian chocolate manifacturing company, Bonbonetti. The presentations of the case were followed by a feed-back session.

The next day, members of GTK, who are going to participate at international case competitions, had a discussion with Zsolt Ábrahám about team dynamics and key factors that can lead to a successful solution at an international case competition.
