Dinea Márk-Andrei participated in the Management Shadowing programme
On 8th February, Dinea Márk, active GTK member took part in the Management Shadowing program at East Grain as the „shadow” of Vincze Tamás.
The experience report can be read below:
„Spending a day with a manager is like being in the middle of an intensive course, and the day with Tamás Vincze was perhaps even more saturated. The work went from 8 am to 5 pm, with the only break being lunch while listening to a training session. The first half of the day was spent with Dénes Laczkó, CEO of UBM Feed Romania, and then Tamás continued with a detailed presentation of the East Group, including East Grain. During the day, we visited the grain mills from Iernut and Sanpaul, where I was able to see the work processes and modern equipment, and also visited East Grain’s office building in Cluj-Napoca. In addition to learning about the group’s operations, thanks to Tamás, I was also able to learn the steps involved in trading grain, and at the end of the day we attended an international contracting training session.
All in all, I think the day with Tamás (and partly with Dénes) will be memorable, not only for the professional knowledge gained, but also for the observation of management methods and the valuable and meaningful discussions.
