Discussion with Dénes Laczkó
On 9th March 2022, the third part of the “Discussion with the Leaders” series was organised, where students of the GTK had the possibility to ask from Dénes Laczkó, GTK alumi and CEO of UBM Feed Romania. After Dénes’s short presentation about his and the companies’ history, he gave possibility to ask him anything. Among other things, the students asked him about the impact of foreign policy on the feed market, the consolidation trend in the Romanian chicken meat market and about how an investment fund works. Despite this, more personal topics were also discussed, such as how to balance career and family, the use of different time management techniques and how to avoid burn-out.
During the discussion, the students were able to apply the data and experiences gathered during last semester’s industry analysis, and there was also an interesting discussion about sustainability. At the end of the event, the importance of language skills was discussed and the students were given valuable career advice.
