Discussion with Péter Roland

On April 30, 2026, an inspiring discussion took place within the Entrepreneurship Program with Péter Roland, CEO and owner of Peter’s Cooling, attended by second-year GTK members .

During the discussion, Péter Roland provided insight into the beginning of his career, speaking about his start in Târgu Mureș and about how he took over and further developed the family bakery founded by his parents. He emphasized that the bakery business alone was not sufficient, which led them to expand the company into new areas, including meat product distribution.

Throughout their operations, they faced numerous challenges, particularly in the field of cooling systems. However, these difficulties also created new opportunities: they identified significant gaps in the market and developed solutions that greatly improved their business operations. This experience inspired and motivated Roland to continue building his career in the refrigeration technology industry.

Later, he founded his own refrigeration technology company, specializing in the development and sale of innovative cooling equipment, offering efficient and modern solutions for various industries.
