Discussion with leaders – Gündisch Ágnes

On the occasion of our Discussions with leaders series on 29 November, Ágnes Gündisch, CEO and co-owner of Nobila Casa, visited the GTK. During the meeting, GTK members had a conversation with the head of the well-known chain of stores all over Romania, where they learned useful and interesting information about several aspects of the business.

Nobila Casa is a family business within the Mendola Group, so the students explored the separation of professional and private life, the family constitution for companies and many other interesting topics. The students also gained a broader perspective on economic crises, as the impact of the 2019 pandemic and wars on the company and how they have responded to it came up in the discussion. Thay have also talked about the supply chain and how business processes are run.

The discussion gave GTK students an insight into how to run a family business efficiently and successfully. This convivial conversation will be useful for the students of the GTK even if they want to start or continue a family business or if they want to work in a similar institution in the future.
