Division first place and victory in the mixed teams contest during the global case competition in Mexico!

The BBU-FSEGA students performed excellently at the international case study competition organised by the Universidad Panamericana in Mexico: in the one-week case study round, the team from Cluj-Napoca won first place in the division, ahead of two teams from Canadian and one from an American university. However, they did not make it to the finals, and after the 24-hour case round, the Canadian team was tied on points with the other team. In the mixed team competition, however, the team of Gergő Kolozsi was the best team, along with Spanish, American and Cantabrian team mates.

The world-level competition took place in Guadalajara, Mexico, between 11-15 November 2024, where 16 teams from universities around the world competed against each other. The team representing the Hungarian Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj and the GTK Business Consulting Club was composed of Richárd Boros (Management, 2nd year), Gergő Kolozsi (Marketing, 3rd year), Kata Szalontai (Business Informatics, 3rd year) and Krisztián Tófalvi (Business Informatics, 3rd year). The team was coached by Dr. Levente Szász, Dr. Béla-Gergely Rácz and Dr. Lehel Györfy.
