Energy 2009 – report on BCC’s half-year project
The BCC’s project for the second semester of the academic year 2008/2009 consisted of an ample evaluation and analysis of the energy-market on global, European and national level (including both Hungary and Romania), incorporating the current situation of the industry, possible future tendencies, highlighting significant problems in the industry, and cataloguing attractive business opportunities in the respective domain.
The professional supervision of the project and the laying out of the general guidelines was performed by Miklós Kerezsi, Lehel Györfy and Levente Szász. Márton Imre Frigyes (engineer, economist) gave a technical lecture during these proceedings.
The project leaders: Katalin Ferencz (senior project leader), István Barok (project leader), Dénes Laczkó, Tamás Vincze (assistant project leaders). The project members: Boróka Bíró, Boglárka-Tamara Dorner, Attila Erdély, Csongor Farkas, Tímea László, Márta Lőrincz, Krisztián Székely, Kinga-Beáta Szőcs.
The most important thematic chapters of Energy 2009: electrical energy, renewable energy sources, oil and natural gas, CO2 emission-quotas. István Barok, Dénes Laczkó, Tamás Vincze gave several presentations on the topics mentioned above. The final presentation of the project took place on the 28th of May 2009, during the Company Valuation Days, organized by the BCC. Dr. György Martin Hajdú, associate professor (Central andEast-European Broker School) and Zoltán Kovács, chief executive (Díjbeszedő Holding Zrt.) were also present at the event.
