Finance training with dr. Bálint-Zsolt Nagy

On the 9^th and 11^th of October, 2018 Nagy Bálint Zsolt, PhD, associate professor of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the Babeș-Bolyai University held a two-day financial training for the students of the GTK Business Consulting Club. The training was a continuation of the company valuation and business planning courses from the previous year.

The first day of training included a presentation about the most commonly encountered financial issues in business case competitions and the solution to these problems. On the second day students had the opportunity to examine a detailed financial analysis of an existing firm, they learned about capital market efficiency and valuation multiples.

Thanks to this training, GTK members enriched their knowledge with methods of financial analysis that will prove useful not only at case study competitions, but later in their professional careers as well.
