First place at the case study competition in Miskolc

On 24-25 April, 2014 the Faculty of Economics and the Institute of Management Sciences of the University of Miskolc, Hungary organized the Dr. Susánszky János Case Study Competition. The team from Cluj-Napoca and six other teams from Hungary, representing universities of Debrecen, Pécs, Veszprém, Miskolc and Budapest, participated on this event. The team from Cluj-Napoca delivered an excellent performance, winning the first place of the competition.

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the Babeș-Bolyai University from Cluj-Napoca was represented by the QualiTeam, composed of Czirják Renáta, Demeter Zselyke, Kiss Alpár and Székely Rita, all members of the GTK – Business Consulting Club.

The teams had 10 hours to elaborate a business and operational plan for a startup company dealing withthe sale of a smartphone application. Through this application users can rate the shows of Broadway and those of several other theatres from New York.

On the next day the teams held their presentations in front of a professional jury. The final results of the competition:
