Good results at the BCG Strategy Cup 2010
The BCG Strategy Cup case study competition, organized by The Boston Consulting Group, took place on the 6th and 7th of November 2010 in Budapest. The 24 final contestants from several universities from Hungary and its neighbouring countries were selected based on their CVs, and the answers given to five questions regarding economic knowledge and creativity.
The contestants were randomly placed into four-member teams, thus achieving a diverse blend in curricular and professional backgrounds within each team. This year the teams were asked to evaluate the situation of a German telecommunication enterprise, and then elaborate a strategy concerning future development possibilities.
BCC member Kinga Beáta Szőcs’s team was runner-up, Boglárka-Tamara Dorner’s team ranked third, Réka Birton and Tamás Vincze also qualified for the final round.
