GTK alumni member obtained his doctoral degree

Our alumni member Csíki Ottó, who publicly defended his doctoral thesis on 21 September 2023 at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Babeș-Bolyai University, has been awarded the title of Doctor of Management Sciences. The title of the thesis was “The impact of Industry 4.0 technologies on the human resources of multinational companies in the automotive sector”, supervised by professor Dr. Levente Szász.

Csíki Ottó had to defend his doctoral thesis in front of a five-member evaluation committee and a large audience of family, colleagues and friends. The members of the evaluation committee were Dr. Răzvan V. Mustață (President, BBTE Cluj-Napoca), Dr. Levente Szász (PhD Supervisor, BBTE Cluj-Napoca), Dr. Krisztina Demeter (referee, Corvinus University of Budapest), Dr. Gabriela Țigu (referee, ASE Bucharest) and Dr. Monica Zaharie (referee, BBTE Cluj-Napoca).

During the public defence, Ottó Csíki presented the work of his doctoral research over the last 3 years, followed by a question and answer session, discussion and evaluation. At the end of the doctoral thesis, the members of the committee took a short break to discuss the results of the thesis and as a result of a unanimous decision, the PhD student Ottó Csíki was awarded the title of PhD with excellent marks. The distinction of excellence is not only a recognition of the scientific quality of the doctoral thesis, but also of the internationally recognised publications of the highest standard resulting from the doctoral research.
