GTK camp 2022

This year, our professional camp took place between 21-23 October in Jódtelep. In this year’s camp, GTK students developed fundraising projects and strategic proposals for the Sfântu Gheorghe branch of the Diakónia Christian Foundation, which were presented on Sunday.

GTK members ended a weekend full of useful activities. On Friday, the day of the arrival, after the thourough presentation of GTK’s goals and strategy, the evening consisted of team building activities. Next day the hard work has started: Saturday morning alumni members and a the coordinator of the club held a case study training, which was followed by a Power Point training. After the training the KinderED child and family support service was presented, during which the members learned about a wonderful initiative. KinderED provides afternoon education and a hot lunch four times a week for 600 children. It was a great opportunity for all of our members to get an insight into the everyday lives of the less fortunate children and to work together for a common goal. On Sunday, the GTK students’ presentations were assessed by the KinderED leaders, GTK alumni members and GTK coordinators.
