GTK members participate in a case solving workshop with students of the Manchester Metropolitan University

On April 9-10, 2024 the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca hosted a workshop, where students of the Manchester Metropolitan University had the opportunity to learn together with GTK students about business case solving at international competitions, the workshop being held by colleagues working at the Babeș-Bolyai University. The program of the workshop was built around the experience accumulated by students of the host institutions at various international business case competitions, and targeted specifically the training of participants for the Qualifier Round of the 2024-2025 NIBS Worldwide Case Competition.

The workshop with a total of 17 students included a series of practical assignments and international best-practice examples. The workshop was held by Levente Szász (full professor at the Babeș-Bolyai University), one of the coordinators of international case competition teams, and Kende Pásztor (MSc student at the Babeș-Bolyai University), former champion with his team at the 2023 NIBS Worldwide Case Competition. The student team from UK was coordinated by Mark Crowder (reader at the Manchester Metropolitan University) and Chiranjeewa Atapattu (lecturer at the Manchester Metropolitan University).
