GTK students at the case solving workshop of McKinsey

On November 25, 2022 McKinsey, a global management consulting firm, organized a case study training in Cluj. The event named “Crack the Case with McKinsey” was hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the Babeș-Bolyai University. GTK was represented on the event by two of our members, Noémi Székely and Ákos Erőss.  The event was held in English. In the first half of the training, the instructor introduced the company itself and their main activities. During the training, he first introduced how to approach a case or a business problem and what are the steps through which we can get to the solution. This was followed by a joint case solving. In the second half of the training, teams were formed, and an online bank case had to be solved and presented by the teams. Overall, all students have gained a lot of useful advice and new experiences that they will surely use during their future careers.
