GTK students took part in András Török’s presentation with the title The Joy and Benefit of Culture in the Life of a Leader

On March 21, 2022, together with LeadersLab students, the active GTK members attended a presentation by András Török, Editor of the Vademecum Newsletter. The performance was built around the love of culture and presented the often-overlooked elements of high culture. Members were able to learn about masterpieces from the fields of stamp collecting, short poetry, and animation, for example they watched together Jankovics’ short film, Sisyphus. After the lecture, students could also ask questions. During the conversation, the relationship between religion and culture, the cream of contemporary Hungarian writers and cultural programs within companies were discussed.

The main aim of the lecture was to explain to the students why culture plays an important role in a leader’s life.
