HBCS Study Case solving training

On April 18-19, 2015 a trainer team from the HBCS (Hungarian Business Case Society) visited the GTK Business Consulting Club. The trainers were Zsolt Ábrahám, founder of the organization, as well as Judit Szaffenauer, Lilla Szikszay and Zsanett Tamás.

The training begin with Zsolt Ábrahám using his professional, corporate, academic and mainly international experiences in case study competitions to show the participants – especially in terms of structure – how they can create a presentation in the shortest time.

The first part of the day continued with the trainers’ presentations, each time ending with a short Q&A session. Then the presentation of the structural construction followed, which represents an important part of any good case study solution. After the lunch break, the practical part of the training started. The participants formed teams of four and started the four-hour case study. The whole activity was coordinated by the trainers.

On the second day Judit Szaffenauer and Lilla Szikszay presented the marketing tools available for the study solution. In the end, the students were assigned another four-hour case stuhrough this, they had the opportunity to work together in teams with the trainers and were able to learn from a real situation.
