László Szepessy, our active member, participated in the Management Shadowing program

The experience report can be read below:

„An important component of the GTK mentality is the proper handling of our limited resources, such as time.This week I have participated at the manager shadowing program, in Budapest, at Hodler Capital.

I’ve had the opportunity to get an insight of Kiss Alpár’s work process, the CFO of Hodler Capital. What became clear, even after a very short time, was the prosperity that characterized the atmosphere at Hodler. It was clear, that everyone at Hodler had a positive attitude towards their work and towards each other. Also, thanks to  Alpár, not only that I got the chance to familiarize with concepts such as EBITDA, but I could also experience the way he makes decisions, even in the most difficult moments, a skill that he had mastered during his years in college.

One of the most memorable moments from this trip was definitely a visit to a bank, during which the manager let me watch how the business world works. The other experience, that I would mention was my participation at an international meeting, during which I had the possibility to analyze everything that happened there, such as some of the most flexible reactions of the participants, but also the preparation for this event, which for me was really interesting.

I would like to thank Kiss Alpár, and the GTK for this fantastic opportunity to get an insight of the business world!”
