Leadership training with Laszlo Berenyi

On  April the 20th, 2016, dr.  László Berényi held a leadership training for GTK Business Consulting Club members. The course was an interactive one during which we learned a lot about what is a team and how to be the leader of a team.

At the beginning of the training we talked about what a team is in theory, then discussed about cooperation. After clarifying the basics in theory, we experienced the importance of team-cooperation through role-playing.

During the first game we had to face the difficulty of communication in the shape of one minute long dialogues, then we had to escape being tied together in teams of two. This game, which at first looked easy for everyone, proved to be a challenging one.

The one that caused the most trouble was the one answering trick questions in a short period of time.

The interactive training continued with a tricky game, where each of the 5 team members one after the other, had to tell the same story, thus until the end, the story completely changed it’s true form and meaning. This way, we experienced how an information can be deteriorated, even when it’s not purposefully done, which, unfortunately, can happen in real life as well.

The training was a success among the students, we enjoyed every minute of it. We learned about leadership strategies in a fun and exciting way, and thanks to the course’s interactivity, it proved to be one of the most dynamic training held this year.
