Members of GTK took part in a case study training session together with students from Manchester Metropolitan University!
With the participation of Manchester Metropolitan University (UK), an interactive case-solving training session was held for the second time in Cluj-Napoca between 17-18 July 2025. The training was delivered by colleagues from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FSEGA) of Babeș-Bolyai University for the students of the British university, who participated together with their peers from FSEGA and GTK.
The training built on the international competition experience of the Hungarian-language economics program at Babeș-Bolyai University, with the main goal of preparing students from both institutions for the global qualifying round of the 2025-2026 “NIBS Worldwide Case Competition”.
A total of 17 students from the two universities took part in the training, which included practical tasks and international examples. The sessions were led by Professor Levente Szász, PhD (FSEGA, GTK coordinator and one of the coaches of UBB’s internationally competing teams), and by doctoral student and lecturer Réka Izsák (FSEGA). The Manchester student team was accompanied by professors Dr. Mark Crowder and Chiranjeewa Atapattu.
We would like to thank the Manchester delegation for their visit and all participating students for their active contribution!
