Negotiation techniques seminar with Professor David Venter
On December 5th a select few from the GTK Business Consulting Club, together with members of the Mathias Corvinas College, had the privilege of attendingthe lecture of negotiation expert Professor David Venter. Duringthe seminar, which began at 9 AM sharp and lasteduntil the evening, participants got the chance to enrich their knowledge in negotiation techniques. It was also an opportunity for the students to put in practice some of the things they have learned through two practical exercises wherethey had to conductnegotiations with each other. Amongst all the feedback that prof. Venter gave by far the best must have been the incorporation of various stories of his past experiences in the business world. It seemed extremely fascinating how the professor could turn any mundane event into a useful practical story that would help us to better understand the theoretical parts of the seminar. All in all the encounter was a valuable one,contributing to the negotiation expertise of GTK members.
