Our second-year members participated in a controlling training
On March 31, the now traditional controlling training was held, delivered by Huba Eörs, managing director and trainer, with the support of IFUA Horváth & Partners for second-year members of the GTK.
The session started at 9 a.m. with a brief introduction, after which the lecturer introduced the students to the world of controlling. During the training, which lasted until the afternoon, topics included the importance of strategic management and how strategic goals can be translated into operational levels.
Students had the opportunity to learn about the differences between financial accounting and managerial accounting, as well as their role in supporting corporate decision-making. In addition to theoretical knowledge, participants deepened their understanding through practical exercises and case studies, including the topic of target costing.
Overall, participants gained useful knowledge that can be effectively applied in the future.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Huba Eörs for the valuable and insightful training, and for contributing every year to the development of our students through this program!
