Our team wins best presentation award at an International Competition on Artificial Intelligence in Denmark
Our team received the best presentation award at the international competition “GRAILS – Global Responsible Artificial Intelligence League for Students,” organized by the International Business Academy (IBA) in Denmark and held between May 18–22, 2026. The event brought together eight university teams representing six countries.
Representing the Department of Economics and Business Administration in Hungarian Language of Babeș-Bolyai University and the GTK were Burkhardt Balázs (Business Information Systems, Year 2), Izsák Adél (Finance and Banking, Year 2), Ladó Viktória (Finance and Banking, Year 2), Lázár Benedek (Finance and Banking, Year 2), and Toth Izolda (Management, Year 2), all undergraduate students enrolled in the Hungarian-language study line. The team was mentored by Dr. Levente Szász, Dr. Lehel-Zoltán Györfy, and Dr. Béla-Gergely Rácz.
Prior to the on-site competition, participating teams were tasked with developing solutions for the ethical application of artificial intelligence, addressing several of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The challenge required teams to create an AI-based prototype, which they presented during the final stage of the competition.
The event focused not only on technological innovation but also on international collaboration. Students from different countries and academic backgrounds worked together on responsible AI solutions, participated in professional workshops, lectures, and presentations, and also visited the Lego House in Billund.
Three awards were presented during the competition: Best Presentation, Most Ethical Solution, and Best Overall Project. The BBU team proudly won the Best Presentation Award.
We warmly congratulate our members on their outstanding achievement and excellent performance in a highly competitive international field.
