Outstanding results on the case study competition in Pécs in 2012

Between October 14 and October 16, 2012 the University of Pécs, Hungary hosted the fifth edition of the Dr. Papp László Case Study Competition in Accounting, having this year a total number of 19 teams representing Hungarian and foreign universities. The Babeş-Bolyai University and the Hungarian Department of Economics and Business Administration was represented by 3 teams, who achieved excellent results by winning the first and the third place of the competition, and also a second place in the preliminary groups. A total of 8 BCC members participated in the work of the three teams representing our university.

Final results of the competition:

• I. place: Babeş-Bolyai University (team Sirius – Ábrahám Krisztina, Csorvási Endre, Gáspár Barna-Szabolcs, Imrea Beáta)
• II. place: University of Miskolc, Hungary (team Zöldek)
• III. place: Babeş-Bolyai University (team FourInOne – Baumgartner Mónika, Demeter Zselyke, Erdély Attila, Joita Nicoleta)
• IV. place: Budapest Business School, Hungary (team Bagolyvári Mémek)

Team Fókusz (Dorner Boglárka Tamara, Furdek Balázs, Salamon Ádám, Szőcs Kinga Beáta), also representing our university achieved a second place in the preliminary group stage.
