Participation at the case study competition organized by IFUA Horváth & Partners
On the 16th of November 2018 IFUA Horváth & Partners, a consulting company, in cooperation with Cserpes Sajtműhely, organized its annual Case Study competition. After a preliminary round where a total number of 10 teams qualified for the final round, team Synergy representing the Babeș-Bolyai University and the GTK – Business Consulting Club succeeded to qualify to the live finals. The team was composed of Deák Levente, Éltes Rita, Géger Gyopár and Kelemen Kincső.
During the preceding week, the teams had the task to develop a detailed solution to the questions raised by the board of Cserpes Sajtműhely. The teams had to come up with a strategy to boost sales. Competing teams presented their solutions at the IFUA headquarters in Budapest. The presentations were evaluated by a professional jury. During presentations teams got to participate in different games, for example: consulting simulation game similar to Beugró, a non-profit problem solving card game and discussions about consulting career. The event was closed by a networking dinner, where participants had the possibility to receive detailed feedback from the jury.
