Participation on the 13th National Case Study Competition

Between the 3rd and 5th of March 2012 the Institute of Management of the Corvinus University of Budapest, Faculty of Business Administration and the EVK College for Advanced Studies organized the 13th National Case Study Competition. On one of the most prestigious case study competitions of the region 15 universities from the Carpathian Basin were represented by their teams. The Babes-Bolyai University from Cluj-Napoca was represented by a team composed of four BCC members.

This year’s task was to develop a growth and distribution strategy in Hungary for a new kind of basketball tournament, called the B33.

The team that represented the Babes-Bolyai University presented a unique strategy in the semi-finals, but their performance was not enough to qualify for the finals of the competition. The team from Cluj-Napoca consisted of Boglárka Dorner, Attila Erdély, Csongor Farkas and Kinga Beáta Szőcs, all of them members of the BCC.
