Participation on the MBA program of the Quinnipiac University 2014
Between the 1st and 14th of June 2014 the Quinnipiac University from Connecticut, USA organized its 7th MBA Trip to Budapest . During this program, the students visited many local and international companies throughout the country. Beside the American students, two GTK – Business Consulting Club members, Czirják Renáta and Német Hunor also took part in this two-week program. The program was organized by dr. Christopher Ball, professor at Quinnipiac University.
In the first days of the program, the attendees were led through the city of Budapest and visited local places of importance such as the Corvinus University, the Parliament and the Sándor Palace.
Over the following 12 days, the group visited a total of 14 companies. The list included companies like Bonafarm, Morgan Stanley, Exxon Mobil, Zwack, KPMG, Light Tech, and others.
In the week-end, the participants visited the town of Pécs, and went on a tour to the famous Villány wine region, got acquainted with the wineries while taking part in 3 wine tastings.
The program ended on Krisztián Sauska’s estate, where the representatives of the companies visited in the previous two weeks also took were present. After the official ceremony, the networking event provided a great opportunity for students and business professionals to share their ideas and views on subjects of common interest.
