Presentation about the media industry

On the 8th of November, 2014 András Szabó, CEO of Viasat Hungária Zrt. held a presentation about his experience as a manager at MTG group, a Swedish multinational media corporation. The event took place at the GTK office.

During the presentation GTK – Business Consulting Club members got valuable insight on how the media and entertainment industry works, what new challenges they have to face and which strategies they use to overcome these challenges. In the second part of the presentation participants learned more about MTG group and especially about its mission and expansion strategy in Europe.

The presentation ended with an analysis of the acquisition strategy of the MTG group in Hungary and the formulation of a possible future strategy for the Hungarian branch of the group.
