Presentation technique training held by dr. Kádár Magor

On November 6, 2014, the members of the GTK attended a presentation technique training held by dr. Magor Kádár, associate professor of the Babeș-Bolyai University and director of Terra Nova Training and Communication Center. The event took place at the GTK office.

At the beginning, everybody introduced themselves. After the introductions, the members of the ConsulTeam (Anita Kovács, Csongor Guttmann, Réka Fekete, Attila Fehér) presented their case study prepared for the 7th “Dr. Papp László” Case Study Competition in Accounting. This was followed by the presentation of Etelka Gábos and Edina Katona. After that, the participants analyzed the weaknesses and strengths of both teams together.

Then the participants were divided into four groups: two teams held a discussion about the style and looks of a good speaker, the third one about the appropriate structure of a good presentation and the last one about the qualities of a good speaker. Each team then presented their ideas about the chosen topic. The presentations were followed by the questions of the other groups’ members.

At the end of the event, the trainer assigned the tasks and homework for the next meeting. Everybody left the GTK office with great satisfaction, curiously waiting for the next training.
