Professional workshop and team-building in Aiud

During the weekend of 28-30 October, 2016 the new and old members of the GTK Business Consulting Club participated on the first professional and team building event of the semester, which took place in the Casa Helvetica in Aiud.

The first day’s schedule started with a Microsoft Excel training, held by GTK alumni member Kristály Csaba, which lasted four hours and included valuable practices regarding the efficient use of the program. The afternoon was dedicated to team building activities. The professional program continued the next morning. Coordinators Levente Szász and Béla-Gergely Rácz, managing director Réka Fekete and the senior members of the club presented the strategy and the semester program of the organization, including the tasks that need to be fulfilled by the members of the club. After that a Powerpoint training held by Réka Fekete. This training was followed by a presentation held by Levente Szász on how to solve a case study efficiently, how to make a convincing presentation and what are the frequent mistakes that need to be avoided. The presentation included an interactive task in groups where members had to develop a presentation structure.

The last day of the weekend started with a discussion session on artificial intelligence and its effect on society, which provided an interactive experience for the participants, enabling them to share their thoughts and opinions about the current issues in the field. The last project of the weekend consisted of a group assignment to solve a business case study. Participants were divided into groups of four, having four hours to prepare a solution and present it in the front of a jury.
