Qualification to the final round of the SGH Business Game in Warsaw
Between November 29-30, 2018 the first edition of the SGH Business Game was organized by the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, Poland. Over 300 students have applied to the competition, and based on the preliminary round 48 students have qualified to the finals in Warsaw where they had to work on four different case studies. During the first challenge, the students had to come up with a marketing strategy for Procter & Gamble, more specifically for their Pantene shampoo brand. The second challenge was to create a business development strategy for the CD Projekt company, which is the market leader in Poland in the video games industry, one of their most known RPG game being the world renowned game, The Witcher. During the third challenge participants got a mission from PricewaterhouseCoopers, a consulting firm, to come up with a market entry strategy in Singapore for a company working with drone solutions. The fourth and last challenge included a Polish company, M4Medical, which manufactures ECG machines, the students having the task to create an offline marketing strategy for this company.
One GTK member, Norbert Szabó, succeeded to qualify to the final round of the competition and delivered an honorable performance during the challenges. Congratulation!
