“Runner-up” award for the team of GTK students at the Georgetown University’s Case Study Competition in Washington DC, USA!

After their excellent performance the team of Tamás Barabási, Balázs Boga, Kelemen Kincső and Zsuzsánna Pádár has won the “runner-up” award at the International McDonough Business Strategy Challenge organized by the American Georgetown University in Washington DC.

The team of Fordham University was the division winner, and our team finished as the second best leaving behind renowned American universities such as Pennsylvania State University, Stetson University (Florida) and Emory University (Atlanta). The international McDonough Business Strategy Challenge took place on February 5-9, 2019 in Washington DC with the participation of 19 universities from the USA and Europe. During the competition the teams had to develop a comprehensive strategy for the American Cancer Society to ensure a long-term and sustainable involvement of young volunteers.
