Second place and three special prizes at the management case competition in Veszprém

Between 23rd and 25th of February, 2019, the Tímár László Case Study Memorial Competition was held at Pannon University in Veszprém, where the students of GTK also participated with a team of four: Izsák Réka (Finance and Banking, 1st year), Nagy Miriám (Management, 2nd year), Tempfli Ákos (Computer Science Applied in Business, 1st year), Tiboldi Dorka (Computer Science Applied in Business, 1st year).

Our students had to develop their HR strategy for an Unilever Ice Cream Factory, the Algida Veszprém within a 24-hour time frame. One person from every participating team was taken to the ice cream factory, where they could observe the operation of the company and gain insight into the mystery of ice cream making. The team won the second place, competing with guest teams, besides they won the special award of the best performer team.  Furthermore, Izsák Réka also received two special awards for her outstanding performance.
