Special prize won at the PwC management and finance case competition
GTK member Pádár Zsuzsánna won the special prize of the PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Consulting Challenge management and finance case competition finals in Budapest.
Between 7-12 november 2018 it was organized for the fifth time by the PricewaterhouseCoopers the Consulting Challenge case competition in Budapest. The qualification condition for the finals was the good performance in the individual qualification round, where the competitors had four hours to elaborate a product portfolio extension strategy for a company, which produces software for self-driving cars. The language of the presentations was English, and it was held in front of PwC consultants. Among the best 24 competitiors qualified also our student, Pádár Zsuzsánna.
In the finals six groups of four were formed, and the teams had 24 hours to analyze the possibilities of a telecomunication company to enter the e-sport market. Each team had a PwC consultant as a mentor, who followed the work of the team. The elaborated strategy was presented in front of a professional jury. On basis of the professional evaluation of the presentations Pádár Zsuzsánna won the special prize of the competition, a three months intership at the PwC consulting company.
