Successful participation at the National Scientific Student’s Conference

Between the 14th and the 16th of April 2011 several of our members took part in the Economics Section of the 30th National Scientific Student’s Conference organized in Gödöllő,Hungary.

During this 3-day event 580 students had the chance to present their papers in 43 different sections.In comparison to past editions, this year’s conference represented a quantitative and qualitative progress for the students of the Babeş-Bolyai University: the 7 speakers from Cluj-Napoca presented 5 scientific papers, winning 4 prizes and 2 special prizes. Anita Suta won first prize, Márta Lőrincz second prize. Dénes Laczkó and Tamás Vincze won not only a second prize, but also recieved two special prizes within their section. Emese Kudor ranked third. Also, Lehel Györfy, PhD, one of the BCC’s coordinators attended as member of the Management Section jury.

BCC members István Barok, Dorner Boglárka, Dénes Laczkó, Márta Lőrincz and Tamás Vincze all gave presentations at the conference, earning a total of 4 prizes.
