The 11th Open Case Study Competition in Miercurea Ciuc

The 11th Open Case Study Competition took place between May 4 and 6, 2012 in Miercurea Ciuc, organized by the Bölöni Farkas Sándor Special College of the Sapientia Hungarian University of Transilvania. Four teams from Cluj-Napoca represented the Babeş-Bolyai University, one team competing in the bachelor, and three teams participating in the masters section. A total of 21 teams competed, 13 composed of bachelor and 8 of master students. The Babeş-Bolyai University earned first place in the bachelor section.

The winning teams (in both sections):

  • II. prize: Corvinus University of Budapest (bachelor)
  • III. prize: Sapientia University (bachelor)

  • I. prize: University of Pécs (master)
  • II. prize: Corvinus University of Budapest (master)
  • III. prize: Budapest University of Technology and Economics (master)

BCC member Krisztina Ábrahám was part of the bachelor team that earned first place, while BCC members Zsolt Benkő, Boglárka-Tamara Dorner, Attila Erdély, Csaba Kristály, Tamás Major és Kinga-Beáta Szőcs also participated in the competition.
