The GTK High School Program 2016 finished
On the 17th of December , 2016 the GTK High School Program finished. This training started in October for the 4th time in a row. By teaching business planning, its purpose is creating opportunities for the acquisition of practical business knowledge, which complements the theoretical economics and business studies education students receive at school. The students were able to attend five trainings during the semester to receive support in preparing their own business plan, which they had to present to a professional jury at the end of the program.
The 11th graders of three schools: Apáczai Csere János High School, Báthory István High School and János Zsigmond Unitarian College joined the program. 15 students in 4 groups made till the final round and presented their work. They received training in the following topics: business attitude, entrepreneurship, business idea, industry analysis, strategic planning and human resource management, marketing and techniques of finance and presentation.
The students came up with various business ideas: aqua park, chocolate and sweet shop, frozen yoghurt shop and bagel shop. The presentations were evaluated by a professional jury which decided the final score:
1st place :472, Frozen yoghurt: Csete Melinda Karola, Dombi Evelin Rozália, Filep Attila Szilárd and Ruzsa Judith Zsófia.
2nd place: Tektonik, Bagel shop: Csorba Botond, Fogarasi Izabella and Szabó Róbert.
3rd place: (shared between two teams): Fine Fox, Chocolate and sweet shop: Drohobeczky Orsolya, Finta Klára Enikő, Hancz Beatrix és Szőke Nóra and 4Power, Aqua park: Ambrus-Ferenc Emese, Chis-Hunyadi Beatrix, Sipos Timea és Venczel Alexandra-Anita
