Twelfth year on the podium: first place at the 2019 National Financial Case Study Competition

Between February 1-3, 2018 the XVII. National Finance Case Study Competition was organized  by the Faculty of Economics of the Széchenyi István University and the Kautz Gyula College for Advanced Studies.

The competition took place in Győr, Hungary. The GTK Business Consulting Club was represented by team 4in1  composed of Griz Zsuzsa, Costiniuc Norbert-Dániel, Deák Levente, and Juhász Patrik. Altogether thirteen teams representing different business schools took part in the competition.
The competitors had 11 hours at their disposal to solve the case study given by Széchenyi István University. So the students had to prepare financial models for the investments of Széchenyi István University. The teams had to make an income statement and cash flow statement, they had to calculate different financial indicators, they had to examine the liquidity of the company operated by the institution, and finally they had to determine the optimal contract portfolio.

On the basis of the evaluation of the jury of senior executives, the team of Cluj was ranked first in this year (third in a row), which is the 12th place in the race.
