Two days spent, seven prizes won by our students at the international competition in Pisa
The Sant’Anna Business Game took place on November 17-18, 2016 in Pisa, Italy, where 60 different students competed from 16 countries and 3 continents.
During the event the participants had to compete in 5 different challenges presented to them by the five biggest sponsors of the business game, Enel, GE, Benetti, Ericsson és Microsoft.
The first challenge was offeredby Microsoft,a multinational technological giant.They did not fail to impress the participants, since competitors had the task of working together online in groups of three from three different locations. After the submission of the final solutions the best 6 teams had the privilege to present their solution to the Microsoft juryin person.
As for the other 4 challenges the participants had two and a half hoursat their disposal to complete each one in groups of five,where the composition of the teams was changed between each challenge.
Dibernardo Attila and Szabó László have taken part in the final round of the competition, representing the GTK Business Consulting Club and the Babeş-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. The two students have had an excellent performance during the competition, achieving altogether 7 prizes.
Dibernardo Attila won first place at the Ericsson and the GE Challenge and a second place in the Bentti challenge, obtaining altogether an excellent individual 5th place.
Szabó László won first place in the Enel Challenge while scoring third place in the Microsoft and GE Challenge.
