U.S. MBA scholarship won by alumni member of the GTK!

Gergely Csenteri, alumni member of the GTK Business Consulting Club, has been awarded the prestigious Hungarian American Business Leaders (HABL) Scholarship, which enabled him to begin his MBA studies at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut on August 26, 2025. The program is scheduled to be completed in December 2026.

The HABL Scholarship is one of the most competitive opportunities for young Hungarian professionals and future leaders. It supports participants through a specialized MBA curriculum paired with valuable professional experience at U.S. companies. Throughout the program, scholars study while working part-time, gaining international business knowledge and practical skills. After graduation, they continue with full-time employment in the U.S. for about a year, developing leadership abilities and expanding their professional networks. After this last year of the program, they have to come back to the Central-Eastern European region.

The admission process (which was started by Gergely at the time he had been a master’s student at the Department of Economics and Business Administration in Hungarian Language) involved several rigorous selection stages, with only three candidates advancing to the final interviews. Among them, Gergely distinguished himself and earned the scholarship, demonstrating his strong academic background and professional accomplishments.
