Victory, second and third prize, and special prize in the finals of the Zyntern Case Study Challenge

In November 2021, the Zyntern Case Study Challenge took place in an online environment. There were two sections, one about sustainability and the other about business development. The sustainability case was about Güntner – Tata company and the business development case was about the OTP Bank. Two full GTK teams and one team formed partially by GTK members competed in the sustainability section: Arsenal (Antal András, Albert Zsófia, Bugár Anna, Erőss Ákos / GTK team), R-day (Balázs Kristóf, Bánffy Zsófia, Szepessy László, Zsombori Péter / GTK team) and Terra Team (Fischer Anna Gabriella, Hodor Adrienn, Kovács Alpár Botond – GTK member, Pávai-Marossy Zsófia Réka, Szekernyés Péter – GTK member, Tamás Fanni). In the business development section one GTK team had applied: Közgazdászok (Gergely Balázs, Dinea Márk-Andrei, Kovács Kata, Lőrinczi Réka, Szilágyi-Nagy Zétény / GTK team).

In the preselection phase, more than 80 teams competed and 7 were chosen for the finals. All four GTK teams (formed fully or partially by GTK members) competed in the finals. In the sustainability section, teams had to make a strategy about sustainable development for the Güntner-Tata company and in the business development section teams they had to create an IT internship program for the OTP Bank.

After the presentations and evaluations, in the sustainability section the Arsenal team won first place and R-day won second place. Terra Team has got a special prize for the most innovativea idea. In the business development section, the Közgazdászok team came in third place. The fully GTK teams’ advisors were dr. Györfy Lehel-Zoltán, dr. Szász Levente and dr. Rácz Béla Gergely.
