Fourth place and participation in the final of the XXI. National Case Competition out of 96 competing teams

The XXI. National Case Competition was organized between September 26-28, 2020 by the Corvinus University of Budapest and the EVK College for Advanced Studies, which is considered to be the most prestigious competition of the Carpathian Basin.

This year, the competition was organized in a two-round system. Following the online qualifying round, only 12 teams have advanced to the Budapest final, including the Synergy Consulting team (Fábián István –Business Management MA, II. year, Izsák Réka – Banking and Finance II. year, Jakó Zsolt –Management III. year, Vojkuj Csongor – Corporate Fincancial Management, I. year) and the Amazon(u)s team (Farkas-Hegyi Beátrix – Management II. year, Kozma Nóra – Management III. year, Nagy Miriám – Management III. year, Tiboldi Dorka – Business Information Systems II. year). Due to the pandemic restrictions, our teams participated online in the final.

The business case was given by the Mol-Group, the participating teams had one and a half days to develop a strategy and present it in front of a jury of professionals. There were 4 teams in the final of the competition, including the Synergy Consulting team, who ended up in 4th place.
