Kovács Kata and Lőrinczi Réka participated in the Management Shadowing programme

On 6th January, Kovács Kata and Lőrinczi Réka active GTK members took part in the Management Shadowing program at UBM Feed Romania as the „shadow” of Laczkó Dénes.

The experience report can be read below:

„The first and most important thing we learned during the Management Shadowing program is that there is no „free time” in a manager’s day, thus he can work anywhere and is available under all circumstances. We left at 8 o’ clock to Sânpaul and during the drive he described the program of the day, which was full of meetings. We joined the first meeting from the car, and then, arriving at the headquarter, we went straight to the conference room to attend it live.

In the course of the day, we attended 7 meetings, including a financial, a management, a strategy developer meeting and a meeting with the head of Oprea Avi to discuss a business matter.

During the day we gained useful knowledge, as we have seen how he handles a problem within the company, coordinates a meeting, introduces new innovative ideas or approves them in a meeting.

We have experienced the typical „office scene” seen in the movies where it seems that employees are happy to work, since the atmosphere is really familiar, every door and a few walls are made of glass, so people can see the whole work environment.

At the end of the day, we can say that we have gathered new and useful knowledge and we would like to thank Laczkó Dénes that he introduced us to what he claimed “an easy day”!
