The 13th year on the podium: second place at the 2020 National Financial Case Study Competition

Between February 7-9, 2020 the XVIII. National Finance Case Study Competition was organized by the Kautz Gyula College for Advanced Studies in Győr, at the Széchenyi István University

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FSEGA) of the Babeş–Bolyai University was represented by team Synergy Consulting, composed of Nagy Hédi, Vojkuj Csongor (GTK member), Tankó Ervin (GTK member) and Bardóczi Beáta (GTK member) finished second in the finals. This was the 13th podium in the row obtained on this event by our students.

The participating teams had to find answers for the questions of Carnet Riegler Kft., one of the oldest automotive traders in Győr. The task was about building a financial valuation model and working out financial strategy, considering the changes of mobility trends. In the end they had to perform a sensitivity analysis and to define the key parameters which changes have significant effect on the investment and the financial strategy.
